Author: Arbacca Map Name: Mudkip Map Canvas: Sandbox Map Size: Large Player Count: 1-16 Description: Upon exploring and excavating the dunes of Africa, it was discovered that these sands housed a very important artifact, and the covenant soon left the area. 300 years later, a very bored explorer decided to see if anything else was underneath these sands. Unsurprisingly, there was. Suprisingly, it was a giant mudkip hibernating. The next day, the mudkip awoke to a futuristic paparazzi, much unlike the ones it remembered before hibernation. Out of fury (and also just for the goddamn hell of it), the mudkip ate all of the reporters. The government was alerted of this issue, and decided that it was just too damn cute to kill, so they only closed its mouth: permanently. (Yes, I know this is a stupid reason for the mudkip not having a mouth.) A month after the Closing of the Mudkipz Mouth, the mudkip began to take an interest in the dismemberment of human limbs. This was equally horrible as it was cute. The government had only two options: Freeze the mudkip in stone, or: Erase humanity so the mudkip could not go on torturing them. Since the current World Leader chose the latter choice, he was thrown out of office, gagged, and surgically placed in the mudkip's belly. The same punishment was executed upon the next Leader, and his predecessor, since they to chose to erase humanity. Finally, a blind Leader (who could not observe the complete amazingness of a mudkip) chose to freeze the mudkip. He was later torn limb from limb and then burned. We he reincarnated, he was shot twelve times at the age of 2 months. The stone mudkip in all it's glory. A further view just to elaborate how amazing mudkipz are. No detail of the backside was spared building. Proof that I did indeed create this map. Well, somewhat proof. Download Mudkip
This mudkip looks slightly more accurate than a version on Avalanche I saw, but there's only one Mudkip... I guess it serves its purpose aesthetically at least, which is all that's needed since it IS an aesthetic map.
ZOMG DIS R BEST MAEP EVRAR FEECHUR NAO PLZ K LOL Since you know, it's not really anything but a Mudkip, I can only say that it's very accurate to the original (?) and you did a nice job.
Pretty accurate recreation Nothing much to say really but I do like Mudkips. 8.5/10 cuz theres only the mudkip, you could ad some enviromental things
Thanks for all the positive comments, but has anyone bothered to read the description/story? I thought it was interesting... I'm already hard at work on a final draft (I consider this one a rough draft), and it's looking somewhat better. And I shall incorporate aesthetics into it as well.
wow. my gamer tag is "wow Mudkip" Im subscribing, favoriting, 5*ing, Down Loading, Recommending, and giving you a cookie. kthx bai.
Haha! Somebody, or preferrably you, should use this as a centerpiece of their map. Besides... why Mudkip? Treeko was way more awesome.

They also have a fin on the top of their heads and a light-blue fin for a tail. They move around on all four legs. Gender differences None. Special abilities Mudkip can use the fin on their heads to detect subtle changes in air and water currents, and can detect nearby bodies of water in this way. They can also detect danger. Like most water Pokémon, Mudkip can shoot water from their mouths. When in water, Mudkip breathe using the gills on their cheeks. On land, they can powerfully lift large boulders by planting their four feet and heaving. They sleep by burying themselves in soil at the water's edge. Their large tail fin propels them through water with powerful acceleration. If they are faced with a tight situation in battle, Mudkip will become strong enough to crush rocks bigger than themselves. Behavior Mudkip are more mellow than their evolutions, but are protective of their kind and because of their powerful strength they group up in numbers and easy overpower their foes. Habitat Water's-edge Pokémon Mudkip and members of its evolution family dwell in swamps or other wetlands, deep inside isolated islands, because of their dislike of fresh water lakes and ponds. Soon after birth on beautiful beaches, they swim to swamps deep within islands. Very few have been known to hatch in swamps.
