The Flip-Side: Parallel dimensions

    We didn't have a chance to test it with the players at our local LAN center, because the Halo players weren't there this time. So we do not know how well it plays yet.

    This map is:
    Interlocked
    Symmetrical (in a unique way)

    The Flip-side is a map where there are two parallel Dimensions, used for a CTF game! The First Dimension (team 1's spawn) contains Trench-like walkways, that you can duck behind for cover from fire. You must work your way across, move past your flag and into the portal (teleporter), Where you will enter a parallel dimension where everything is the same, except for one thing. You Are walking on the ceiling!
    You must work your way across the ceiling to take the other teams flag, and step through the portal back to your dimension! Once you make it back safely, you once again have to work your way through and capture the flag near your portal.

    Map: Flip-Side
    Gametype: Catch You Ha ha get it? Catch you, on the Flip-Side! Lol *bad joke* ( Multi-flag, this gametype isn't required)

    this is a very unique idea i would have never thought of this. but it doesnt look like theres any cover in pic 2(stupid i know because ur supposed to be on the roof)

    If you had the budget... I would try and make a bottom floor so you could have cover of some sort..but wonderful idea

    It looks like it would be rather unbalanced though.
    Oh well....
    Are there any weapons on map by the way?

    Good idea, but I agree with G043R, it looks very empty on the bottom, you need to add more things such as cover, and weapons.

    Yeah I know it is unbalanced and the 1st dimension doesn't have a ceiling (which does ruin what the map is supposed to be, but i was low on items). Think of this as a Proto-type map though. I am going to try and make another version of this map, where both sides have equal cover, but the map will have an added "twist".
    Trust me, the new version will be better, and I should have it built next Saturday (lol. I make all my maps in less than a day, every Sat. at my local LAN center with Fatman)

    I like the idea like almost everyone! But I agree with the cover thing. Add some sort of Hanging Chandilier thing for cover. Maybe some airconditioning vent that players can fall into for cover? I don' know but something you might find on the cieling? OHH! A Cieling Fan!
