Aero v3 By Aftershock 10 (GT: aAftershock) -Layout: Symmetrical -Gametypes: Flag, Slayer Intro Aero is a small, fast paced, arena style symmetrical map designed to be both fun and competitive. I feel that arena style maps such like Midship from Halo 2 are something that Halo 3 has not had, and so maps like Midship influenced the design of this map a lot. Concepts Originally designed with MLG gametypes in mind, this map is designed to encourage movement around the map, making it very balanced and competitive. Whilst designing and testing Aero, i tried to include many interesting lines of sight, and to stop it from feeling "cluttered" or "random". Everything flows and feels like it has a purpose, everything is neither too complex, nor too simple, and everything provides an fun and balanced arena. This is because i had to use a different spawn system for each gametype. Make sure you download them both. holy cow, really nice map, great job, it looks awsome. im curious about the game play now. the picture from "overview #2" is really nice, along with the sniper tower. the forgeing on those areas are really nice, and of corse with the rest of the map.but i cant see any flaws that could be done, its nicely forged, i guess its becasue of a v3. great job. Srry for this post, i now see that there is an other thread exactly like this one. im pretty sure that one of these threads needs to be closed.
this map looks exceptionally well made, there is a lot of good forging and a lot of good interlocking 5/5 i think this is worth a feature - tyberious

This is worth a feature. THAT said, there's not much else to say. It's perfect, the only thing I think that you should do is release a second (or I guess third) version of the map with greater weapon and equipment diversity. I know you can't do that with this map because it's MLG, but what's an arena without power weapons??? As far as this version goes, it's a perfect 10/10 for MLG standards by me.
The links have been fixed now, i didn't realise i had taken this off my fileshare. I now have bungie pro so i can fit everything i make on there .
In the 'overview' pic #1, the layout kindof looks like a heart. i don't know if it was on purpose, but i think its pretty cool! anyways, i can kind of see how this is an MLG map, but if i just saw the map on bungie favorites or something, i wouldn't be like, "Wow! that's an MLG map!", but i would think of it as a competitive map with a twist.

I love the dising of your map and the base of your map look like midship and the part of the map with a teleport ..... i love it !
this map looks really good in the screenshots. As far as aesthetics go this maps looks flawless. My only concern with the gameplay is that the map looks very crowded. It is definitely good for a map to be architecturally complex but if there are to many structures it can be very hard for players to run smooth routes and it can make good old fashioned mid range 1v1 BR battles very rare. I give it a 4/5. Congratulations on bringing your idea this far, it is definitely apparent that a lot of time and care when into this map.
Yeah... With the white skin I cant see ****. I would appreciate it if you could fix that. From the comments you got, and all of th pictures, it seems amazing, I just hate having to struggle to read and would love you if you fixed it. Dont worry though, your pics are good enough for a DL.
