MLG REBORN xT Game Over Tx Hi and welcome to the newest MLG map I've made. MLG REBORN is a small map meant for close to medium range combat. Filled with plenty of cover and being in a small map environment, games played on this map are GUARANTEED to be very fast paced. Team communication and control are CRITICAL here! Lots of interlocking and some very skilled geo-merging involved too. As it may look like whoever gets the middle of the map can spawn kill to win, it isn't very much so. Tides can and will be turned in this constant battle for domination. The mauler is a VERY essential piece in here too. Remember to leave replies to let me know what you think of the map. All suggestions will be considered and appreciated and some might even be put in a version 2! Here is a short video from some of the people who helped test this map out: YouTube - MLG Reborn ::NEWEST:: map from xT Game Over Tx EDIT: Sorry about the "Pinnicle" logo in various parts of the video. I don't think I can get rid of that. Download only if you think you are ready for, ◄►►►►►►►MLG REBORN!◄◄◄◄◄◄◄►
It looks way to small for mlg, in you video you play 2on2 on it, or am i wrong? The forging is average, i cant find your "very skilled geormerging" anywhere. + why are there 4 red columns but only 3 blues? whats ugly as hell
it does look small however it's been tested for i'd say at least 10 hours or so before releasing the finished product and it handles 4v4's perfectly fine and if not better than that 2v2 there, much like the map "Guardian" works well for 1v1's and even 4v4's. I chose to use the 2v2 for the video because it was one of the slower-paced test games and would work well for showing off the map. the 'very skilled geo-merging' was mostly removed in the last bit to increase the flow and now theres just two huge blocks merged into the ground. The reason you see 3 blue blocks and about 3 1/5 red blocks is becase I basically sacrificed about a foot of symetrical-ness so the map was more open. This is probably the 5th or 6th version of the map and its been played for a while I just wanted to not release it until i deemed it good enough.
You video makes me nauseous. The camera work is way too fast and chaotic. Its like you gave the controls to a 5 year old on crack.
so what does that have to do with the map? Your reply is invalid and void. i didn't post a thread for the video. next time actually look at the map
