    Overshot V0.1

    General Overview
The general theme I was going for is a U-Turn in an Urban District which was setup as a checkpoint for UNSC troops. Ideal flow of battle should consist of vehicular combat and unique ways to counter the other team from getting to their objective. There is some great ways to counter vehicles in this map, which doesn’t always consist of weapons and equipment due to the way the map is setup. You can make a daring leap to a vehicle from the Overpass, sneaky highjack at the U-Turn, or send the vehicle soaring into explosive truck at near the structure “Guardian.”

Tactical jumps are heavily applied into this map as well, meaning you can get to any building from any place without touching the ground. There is even one grenade jump that allows you a clever and sneaky shortcut to the enemy’s base while they are pushing through the defense of your team.

There is also plenty of Eye Candy within Overshot, like the cubes which are located on both corners besides “Guardian” which have power-ups on them. On the tips of the wings of “Guardian”, you can see outside the fan to see the beach, and above the central tower is a Gauss Warthog displayed for your enjoyment and wishful thinking. Everything is set up to use the environment of Foundry as well as the initial theme of the map.

    Gametypes Recommended:
I highly recommend playing this game on Capture the Flag, which is fun and enjoyable with vehicles involved. There is no quick way to get the flag to your base, but there is one clever secret shortcut which involves a grenade to get to enemies base.

Notes on Changes Applied In V0.1

*All spawn times for the vehicles, weapons, and equipment has be adjusted to balance the game play.

*An few adjustments to weapon placement to better suit the flow of battle in and around the Center.

*Aesthetic Parts of the Map have been rearranged to better give an feeling of being at an UNSC Checkpoint, not just an symetrical repeat of the map.

*The Truck by the Cube is moved closer to it to allow easier jumps from the truck to the Active Camo.

*Propane tanks have been rearranged and adjusted to give a better effect of destroying the Vehicle Garage with an well placed shot or gernade.

*New Gametypes have been added and tested for balance issues or breaks.

    I loved the map man!
A successful foundry map that supports vehicles?
    People actually use them?
    Blasphemy.
    Not anymore!
Just needs a few more spawn-points!
And it seems like it would work great for small and big parties!
You have made the trip mine an effective weapon, and for that, you get my seal of approval.

how do you stamp a web page?
anyways, pretty much what Gerbil said, great map, nice interlocking, the monument things look great, i think it would be great for 4v4-6v6 instead of our puny 3v2 match, but it was still great anyway. I'm still annoyed that i didn't get to blow up either of the garages with the propane tanks though.

Thanks guys for the comments and ratings. I enjoyed making this map, because random people would come in and be like "Wow" or "Awsome" while I am making. I did have some trouble, like saving it once and leaving it running. Some random dude comes and totally destroys my map.

I am glade I gotten into the habbit of saving after making changes to a map.

Hmmm... that two bow structure looks a lot like mine...
I'm not mad or anything, I just think it looks oddly similar...
You did a good job on the map though although there are some very open spaces in which you probably should add more cover.

Yes, I kinda took that idea from you. Pretty simple and very beautiful design. Props to you, but I wanted to keep it open as much as I can, it is a vehicle type map afterall. The design implanted for that reason. You can also get anywhere on the map without touching the ground, just depends on how good of a jumper you are when it comes to tricky jumps.

I think the open spaces sum up that this map is on an open road... and it adds to the feel of the map.
This has got to go down as a great map... i personally like the ways to board the vehicles. V original.

Downloaded, Had a look around in Forge.

Looks quality, I'd like to see how it plays out. Its got a nice layout and quite a lot of nice interlocking going on.
Btw there is a bit of tearing on a box on the center platform, this can usually be fixed by just picking up and replacing the box in the same place.
Overall I would give it 4.5/5, seeing as thats not possible I'll round it up to 5.
    Peace.

I placed 2 double walls on the ground and placed thosse walls on them. This allowed the walls just to poke out just enough to create an wall to duck behind while firing at the enemy. This allowed me to create almost a feeling of Zanzibar tower that they have... which was pretty hard to duplicate.

It is a gauss warthog, which would drastically change the gameplay. I placed it up ontop of the building to create eye candy. Most people see it really wanted to drive it, but it is not for driving at all...

This looks like a mix of a Barbera Strieshand convention center, Forerunner construct and the Madison Cube Garden.
