Map Title: Hydration Water, water, everywhere... 2-6 players Description: Hi, this is my first post here, and my first 'proper' map. It's called Hydration, and it's designed for Slayer and Team Slayer. Download Map Screenshots Main Overview The upper room, with Fuel rod and stickies. Secret way down to the 'water' Sniper spawn Second floor taken off, and spawns Hope you like it! EDIT: The 'pool', which holds the man-cannon and the Active Camo.
First of all let me say that I think this map looks very cool. I love your use of interlocking. Secondly, I'd like to say that I do have a question about the map. The title is Hydration, but I don't really see any " water" except for in picture #4. can you upload more pictures of the water? after all, you do have the tagline "Water, water everywhere."
Oh yeah, I forgot to add, It was originally intended to be a water processing facility thingymajig, but I didn't really get round to the aesthetic side of it, so there's only that small square of water, where the mancannon and Active Camo are. I'll try to get a better pic of it up Oh, and thanks for all the positive replies!
Wow I gotta hand it to you, great first post. The level is very nice and very fun. Only one small gripe, a very small gripe, might need some more cover. Other than that the maps perfect. Great job and keep up the very nice work. Have a nice day.
this looks really cool, especially for a first post. I suggest you get yoru map tested though so you have some gameplay pictures, and this also helps you determine what needs to be fixed on the map - camping spots, too many power weapons and so forth. but quite the start, good job!.
I really don't think shield doors being used as water has been over used. It makes for a nice aesthetic touch to a map, which I think more people need to focus on. Good forgers make maps that are fun to play on, great forgers make maps that are fun and aesthetically pleasing. Your first map looks good. I'm sure you have more good maps up your sleeve. I suspect you just made a new account so you looked like an unbelievable new guy... lol But, great job with the map. And I'm just looking at the screenshots. I'll DL and give you some feedback. ^^
This gets a DL from me. I'll let you know what I thought once I get something together on it. Nice use of subtle curves.
