i play Elite, katana Spartans who think there good are freaking noobs, katana is painfully easy to get since mythic came out and the ODST maps will make it even easier, elite also gives you an edge in Brs because of bouncy head physics and impossiblility to head shot them from behind. My set is : Commando head Assault body Left shoulder ascetic Right shoulder fight If i'm in spartan which is almost never: Scout head katana/EOD body Security left shoulder Scout right shoulder
I use Mark V head, CQB Right shoulder, EOD left shoulder, and CQB body. I like the knife on the body, it makes me feel bad ass.
Well actually, the vidmasters for ODST will be pretty hard... I dont think that Recon will be the next Hayabusa because Hayabusa was incredibly easy to obtain... Looking at a guide and finding 12 skulls is nothing compared to beating 4 sets of Heroic Firefight, beating a Legendary level with no shots or grenades, beating "Highway" with no vehicles on Legendary and beating "Halo" with all ghosts. beating "Highway"- Im not sure what this level is, but it is probably an all vehicle based map with tons of Wraiths and such. So doing this without a vehicle would most likely make it almost impossible to get through on foot... So Recon was described by Bungie as "something that only the hardcore players will get." Im sure that most people that are good will get Recon. Anyways- who cares how popular the armor is? Its how good it looks. Whatever armor combination you are wearing right now (unless you haz Reconz!) there are hundreds of thousands of people wearing the exact same combo... So if hundreds of thousands of people are wearing Recon, what difference does it make?
Incorrect sir, play swat and you'll learn Elites are NOT impossible to hit from behind. Elites have a hit box above their head...so when your Bring an Elite from behind you have to aim just above/tip of their head and you'll be fine...I've 4 shotted elites from behind... Anyway my amour perm set up is, Head: Recon Left Shoulder: Mark VI Right Shoulder: Mark VI Chest: Recon
Katana and Hayabusa is way overused, as well as the Steel and White colors. I use, as Spartan, ODST Helmet, CQB Body, and Security Shoulders. As Elite, which I am almost all of the time, I wear Commando Helmet, Assault Body, Left Flight Shoulder, and Right Ascetic Shoulder.

At the moment, until ODST is released, I am currently sporting the ODST head, Security shoulders and Katana. Although I'm not too fond of the Katana anymore so I may eventually go to C.Q.B Before I changed to ODST I used Mark V. Oh and my Colors are Steel primary and orange secondary.
I use the default Mark VI armour but i'm seeing people use the ODST helmet a lot more because of...Halo3:ODST
