Well, this is my first post here on Forgehub, although I have been here wathing for a long time. I just thought I'd see what everyone thinks about my idea, it's nowhere near finished and I haven't got pics yet but... here goes. No-Man's Land (Sandbox [Skybox] ) The innovate and as-far-as-I-know brand new idea behind this map is it's size. When finished it will be playable for teams anywhere between 3-v-3 to 8-v-8, and yet the map is small. Very small. Based on a system of two trenches with a very small stretch of no-man's land, the idea of this map is to incourage cooperation and team work, and people will complain about how your entire team can be wiped by some guy throwing 'nades, or how the guy looking down on your trench with a turret will keep you pinned down for ever, but the truth is, YOU have a turret, YOU have 'nades, YOU could do the same, and with more than one way to attack the enemy, is the side with brains, not brawns, that wins. It's your choice, you go straight over the top and make a short dash with a shotgun straight into their trench, you stay back with a sniper and take down key enemies, you sneak round one of the many side passages, were some nice goodies can be found, including a cloak, or you can jut die repetatively and complain about how lame the map is 'cos you can just run straight at their base. :joker: Oh, and just if you were wondering how the trenches work. Lay down a wall double, then put down a block huge on it's side touching it. Now put a tube ramp down. If you stand on the tube ramp you can shoot over the side of the trench.
sorry but there is already a kick ass trench map :/ heres an idea which i haven't seen yet, if you're good (i mean epic)it'd be cool to see like a ring of trenches (like a dart board if you see what i mean) then you can either go over the top and run to the other side/ inner trenches, or sneak around, leaving the risk of being surrounded
