This is probably what every forger without a large party has thought of at one time. What if there was a way to always have the correct party size when playing a custom game? Well, I thought of the system and how it would work out. So look below. 1. You have just logged on to Halo 3, your profile begins updating. 2. The updating is complete, and there is a new sub-tab under Custom Games called "Matchmade" 3. You go to Matchmade, it asks you what size party you want to play with (1-16; 1 player is to play on another person's puzzle/obstacle course map). So let's just say you want to play with 16 people. 4. Now you pick what type of games you want to play (Competitive & MLG, Infection, or Mini-game; just to name the most likely). You want to play on your newest forged Competitive map with a max party, so you choose "Competitive". 5. Now it begins loading, similar to that of matchmaking (...finding player), then you are transported to a party of 16. Now this is where patience comes in. Every person has leader before the game automatically passes it on to another. So that means you will have to wait for x players to play their own games before you're leader. 6. When you are leader, you only can be leader for x minutes, after then the leader is passed. Now from here, the new leader can end the game or keep it up if it's just that fun. But if your map sucks, then a majority vote (during game) can end the game. 7. As leader, the game has no way of defining which maps are competitive or not, so if you put on a mini-game during an MLG session, the majority of people are likely to report you. From then Bungie can ban you for a bit. So there, that's my opinion of a smooth, online matchmade custom games system. So please reply and tell me your opinions. Be sure to mention if you think that this update would be worthwhile for microsoft point purchase.
meh. its a good idea in theory, but i don't really think it will work well. There really can't be anything in matchmaking that requires honor rules; a bunch of people will break them regardless of the consequences. the MM times will also be rediculously long.
Way too complicated. There is already a party size limit in play, so that isnt a problem. All you need is friends. Bungie leaves it up to you to get them.
