I've set a Trap!

I'm not really seeing a focal point.. or rule of thirds.. and it just looks weirdly plain on the left side. I like the water drops and the colors though. Maybe make a border too..??

I'm not great at grading sigs.. so take what you want, I guess.. lol

 

Rule of thirds is a grid 3*3 and a basic artistic guide is to put your focal point as close as possible to one of the four corners.


As for the sig, I think if you shifted the whole thing over a bit to the left, it would look better. The text is good, i would suggest moving it anywhere but over your focal. Apart from that, i cant fault what you have done so far. For renders, you always want one that already has depth in it, and preferably action too, this makes it easier to add to depth, and create flow in your signature. Obviously, this wont happen all the time for all signatures, but if you see on this, i guess it was hard to add to the flow, because you had to decide which way it was going in the first place.

 

Your best work, by far. Looks nice, I'd add some gradient maps, though.

 

Ruler of thirds doesn't not always apply. There are many instances in which, if a person used it, it would ruin their image.

 

I know, he asked what the rule of thirds was, and i gave an answer. I said it was a basic artistic guide, if you want to become a better artist, you have to be original, and think outside the box.
