UnfixedCENTRALJ Created by: UnfixedHACKERJ >>Download<< Introductory: Hey everyone, UnfixedHACKERJ here. Ever sense I created UnfixedPUZZLEJ I wanted to make an actual 4v4 map for competitive play. So, after I released my PUZZLE, I started making UnfixedCENTRALJ. I have finally completed the map, and it is ready to be played on! Description: This is a 4v4 map, located on Foundry. The map has two bases side by side, with a central battle arena, and a "yellow" room which leads to the upper level. The map has a few power weapons which can help you win the game, but the map is designed for strategical play. If you play well with your teammates, power weapons will not be a huge factor in who wins and who loses. Players: This map is designed for 4v4 matches. 2v2 works as well, but the spawns tend to play favorites for the team that controls the top Game Variant: This map is best used for Team Slayer. All other variants work with this map as well. I have found that Territories and Assault are pretty fun to play with this map. Size: I have gotten mixed reviews on the size of this map. People at first either say it is super small of super big. It is really a medium sized map, a little smaller that Lockout, and a little bigger than Midship. It is pretty easy to get from one point of the map to the other. You just need to play it once or twice to get the feel for it, because this map is actually quite simple when you understand where everything is. Time: This map took around 50+ hours to make. I had to restart at one point because the center piece did not match up with the bases. Perfecting the map took along time, as well as closing it off so no one could get out of the map ingame. I started this map after I finished UnfixedPUZZLEJ, which was around 3-4 months ago. Construction: While creating this map I wanted everything to be clean and spotless. So I merged almost everything together, and made sure everything fit properly. In PUZZLEJ, I didn't have the clean look like I wanted for this map, so I made sure everything was clean and perfect. Also, I would have blocked more things off, but I have so many objects on the map, that I can't even spawn anything else. Weapons: 1 Rocket 1 Shotgun 2 Maulers 1 Bruteshot 6 Battle Rifles 2 Carbines 2 Pistols 4 SMGs 4 Assault Rifles 2 Plasma Rifles 1 Plasma Pistol 2 Turrets 2 Spikers Grenades: 8 Frags 4 Plasmas Equipment: 2 Bubble Shields 1 Power Drain Although it may not seem like it, these weapons balance out the entire map. The map is balanced with power weapons, close range weapons, and long range weapons. The one thing you do not see, is a power up. We originally had a power up in the back of yellow, but that seemed to throw off the balance of the map. If you wish to add this power up back, you can go ahead and do so. Another thing you may see, is the two Turrets. These are both Plasma Turrets. They are both located at the two bases. They are "Plasma" Turrets because there is only 2 places to enter the bases, and with a regular Turret it is almost impossible to get in the base alive. That is why we places 2 plasma Grenades at the entrance of the base. If you wish to remove these Turrets for Slayer games, go into Forge and set them for "Asymmetrical" games only. The respawn times for all weapons is correct, and should keep the play even. Errors: There isn't really any errors in this map. The only one that is visible is at the very back of "yellow." There is a Wall a little out of place. This happened because I just barely ran into the crane that hangs down. I may go back and push that entire section up one day, but that will be in a different release. You can't get out of the map by yourself. You can't Grenade jump out either. You need something to blow barriers out of the way, and a Grenade to get out. Even then your chances are slim, and when your ingame it is nearly impossible, not to mention pointless. The only real spot to exploit is getting ontop the bases, which is pointless and an easy death. I cannot block the top of the bases off, because I have to many objects on the map already. If it REALLY bothers you a lot, just let the other team know it is off limits (might as well let them, easy death). Spawns: Each team spawns at the top of there base, for an even chance at the power weapons. After that, the spawns are scattered all around the map, so a team can't camp at the top, were the rockets spawn. Remember, I would have added more spawns, but I have so many objects on the map, that I can't even spawn anything else. Glitches Used: I used pretty much every glitch in the book. The only ones I didn't use from this list was "Timed Map Events," "Gravity Lifts Techniques," and "Placing Objects in Water." If you need to know how I did these glitches, just follow the link I provided to Forge Hub. Also a bunch of additions to stop teams from exiting the map. Changes From Beta: There is no longer two center pieces, making the center look a little plain and dull. The center pieces made it easy to get the shotgun, and by removing these items it makes the game play better. New Spawn points have been added, and the overall spawn system is better. Weapon Respawns have always been edited slightly. The map is a little bit smoother overall. Tips: When playing 4v4 Slayer, I recommend you try to control the "yellow" room, this will help you win the game. MLG Note: MLG settings may be implemented into a later version! Sorry, I know the rules. I just could not find where the medium pictures were on HSS. I found them, and they are not embedded.
