My warranty for my xbox expires on september 11th and I want a cooling system that actually works. Does anybody know of one that works really well?

Dump it in a vat of liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen isn't electrically conductive, apparently.

That sounds about at trustworthy as the alt+F4 trick...

Edit: As far as I know there is only one type and thats the side fans which are absolutely nowhere near anything that needs cooling thanks to microsofts crappy design...

Unless, what your saying is because your warranty is gone your willing to do some "D.I.Y". Which I don't know about.

I just have a fan behind it. Works fine.

You can get a Watercooling kit for the 360. Not sure how much it is, or what your budget is though.

Try putting it on a sheet of raised glass. I put my laptop on an old chopping board and it dissipates the heat really well. It should work for an xbox, but you may need to keep the glass plate cool somehow.

Or you can just shove your xbox into a plastic bag, let it over heat, and send it to microsoft saying it overheated before sept.11. That way, you get your warranty back for a while and you don't have to worry about it.

    That only works with babies.

But in all seriousness, does your xbox regularly freeze, overheat, or show two red lights? If not, don't bother cooling it.

I used to have the old one. Apparently it would steal power from the Xbox, which led pretty much directly to it sporadically crashing in the middle of games. I'd suggest a USB powered one instead.

Same, got a fan facing the back of the 360 at an angle so it'll blow the heat away instead of in.

Lol you people this is sad. If you play that much xbox that you need a cooler.....well....wtf

i suggest a regular fan as well. No need for something overengineered and overpriced.

Yeah the power it takes creates more heat than the fans take out :/

I got a little mini fan at walmart... that baby pumps out cold air faster than my ceiling fan and If I point it at my xbox and play for 8 hours straight it's barely hot to the touch. It was like 5 bucks too.
