    This Map is smooth, great interlocking, and and looks very fun to play on. Im a BIG Fan of Rocket Racing so you got my download.

    Thanks. I'm glad you like it. It's definitely made Rocket Race more common among my friends, which was my whole purpose. I hope you continue to enjoy the map, and keep spreading the word of RR.

    I was thinking of this was to make a single wide paths going to some areas for example to the top instead of having only 2 entrances. Or some jumps with cannon mans to fly across maps. Maybe also geomerge some random blocks into the ground so it can provide a more RR kind of atmosphere.

    I wanted the top mid checkpoint to be like that since there are already three really close checkpoints in the center. I wanted the players to have to go back out before coming back to the middle. It spreads the checkpoints out without actually moving farther out in the map. All of the other checkpoints can be boosted to, so if you don't want to take obvious entrances, look for a way to boost yourself to get the point.

    Also, from my experience, adding extra ways to get to checkpoints hurts a map more than helping. Take a look at Vorpal Saint's Unholy Speed. I loved the original, but he destroyed it by added more ways to get to the checkpoints and other random stuff.

    That brings us to the man cannons and random blocks... If adding those makes a map more Rocket Racey, then I don't even want to be associated with the gametype. I would rather my map look and play clean and smooth than add things for people to do tricks off of when they get bored. If you want to get across the map faster, boost. If you want to ramp up somewhere higher, boost. And if you want to do tricks when you get bored, boost.

    Anyway, thanks for the thoughts. I'm glad you cared enough to offer them.

    No problem, and yea I agree to what you said but you could try the blocks because I just find that the map is too open, like for example you can basically see where all the drivers all so if you had some cover, it would be more intense.

    I don't really understand what you are saying. More cover makes it harder to see people, which means you will get shot at less, which would make it less intense, imo.

    Generally, the more cluttered a Rocket Race map is, the harder it is to actually hit people with Rockets. I think my map has a good balance of cover and open space. If you don't want to get shot, go through the middle or gutter. Or just get a better gunner who can shoot people before they shoot you.

    What I'm saying is that if you have more cover then you weren't get shot as easily because if you look at sandtrap which I think is an amazing rocket race map and you can't really give everyone that much and on here I just find it too simple and clean for a rocket race track. I feel that it need more cover or buildings or something to make it so in some places you can't see everyone because on this map you see everyone everywhere.

    I usually get mad when someone does something I wanted to do (especially when the bridge ideas were exactly the same :|), but you are an exception. I am downloading, because I've been waiting for a good sandbox rocket race map for a while. And there is a killball down the crypt hole, right?

    You gotta just love the Geo merged stuff on this map, very nice interlocking and super smooth. Keep up the Great forging

    Sorry you had the same idea, but you know what they say: great minds think alike. Yes, the killball is geomerged into the crypt hole.

    Thanks. I only wish the no-clip glitch would have been discovered before I started on this. Would have made things a lot easier, and it would have turned out better. Anyway, thanks for the comment. I'm glad people are still enjoying this map.
