I like it, although the light from the left Mauler (our right) really stands out against the darker background. Maybe add a tiny bit of lighting just behind it?
If the marine didn't look like a cardboard cutout, it'd be a lot better, but I am no gfx pro, so i have no suggestions.
Why is there two of him? I like your new style better. Right mauler looks like crap and I hate the lightsource.
Well not that many people commented positively on my newest style, so i moved on. Also, i barely added a lightsource, and from what i can remember, you don't even know how to add a lightsource, so how can you tell a good from bad, especially when there isn't really a lightsource to begin with.
If your newest style is the one you're wearing, I love it, I don't see why people don't like it. As for this one, it's a good attempt, but I feel it needs more refinement. You've got a greatly detailed stock though, I'm very impressed. Just work on the effects a bit.
