Blockout

this is a very nice map i really don't see why people recreate halo 3 maps but non the less this is a very well made map 5/5

 

Lightscout, you should respect other peoples opinions. This is what is turning forgehub into a horrid place, when members that have been here long and are respected, voice their opinion against athority, and the person with athority is disrespectful towards the members.... In my opinion, the map is good. That's straight up simply put. I don't care too much about remakes but this one is pretty good. But again, if I made up a thoughtful half page about why I dont like the map, I don't want someone biting my ass afterwards. So, if you liked Lockout, download. Otherwise, whatever. One last thing, why do I see so many people thing that this is a blackout remake? Are they retarded?

Edit: hmm lackout does sound nice...hmm nevermind hey but yes your map still remains in my content simply because of the interlocking. Period. The map is lockout, never got too acustomed to the multiplayer maps as I didn't own xbox live. Based on what I recall. You did good. Yes the words run nicely if the noobs don't jump to conclusions based on the pictures.

 

I think the name throws them for a loop. It's part of the reason I picked Blockout, since either generation of xbox players would recognize the map. Lackout just didn' have the same ring

 

Cool like structure in the picture with all the ramps.

 

i actually like this map better than blackout. blackout is to dark this one seems happier and joyful. jk on that last part, no but seriously this definately deserved the feature

This is a terrific map, and well deserves the feature IMO. The attention to detail is very high, and this feels even closer to the original Lockout than Blackout does! The aesthetics are superb, and I can see that you really wanted it to look as good as it plays. Really the only criticisms that I can come up with is that throwing grenades up the lift doesn't work too good, but there's no way that you could use the gravlifts or mancannons that Forge gives you and get a lift that guarantees grenades to fly up consistently in the same spot, and I the ramp from S1 to S2 has a small gap in between it that frags can squeeze through and not cause damage. Other than that, this is a near-perfect recreation of the classic Lockout and one of the best remakes I've ever seen.

I've played it, and the game-play was really fun, and it was impossible to get lost, unlike Blackout. 5/5

 

Great map, honestly. Now, I think I shall resign my remake because this one kicks some (blam!). But, seriously, I love those jumps, really cool.

This is a more accurate remake than Blackout! Win map is win. Heard about that ****** tying to steal your map on youtube too, what a shame.

 

There are no flaws that i can see right away everything is perfect, interlocking is awsome, you get a cookie from me, and sick aesthetics!

I was very sceptical after seeing Blackout being an epic fail, but when I saw the video, I knew it was great! Good job and congratulations on the feature.
