First of all congratz to TD for winning Dallas although i was rooting for carbon. I love the new carbon and they placed 2nd!(Carbon is my favorite team) Str8 finishing 4th really shocked me. they got beat by carbon with a 3-0 sweep. What happened to Final Boss? i was expecting them to do alot better. anyways what are your thoughts? awesome plays? etc...

    I wanted Str8 to win :(
    They're my favorite.

I was shocked as well that Under The Influence and Dynasty actually made it to the Top 8!
    Plus, Ambush getting 16th? Damn.

    Can't wait for Anaheim.

I love the new sense of intensity in gameplay you get as the season starts getting to the playoffs and finals. I'd say that the new carbon impressed me the most, Naded played spectacular and so did Walshy with his constant individual strength as a player he brought to the tourney.

Also some of the best games were played on amplified. I still can't believe how impressive the carbon vs. Str8 game was on amplified (Str8's first circuit lose on amp) and also the championship match Carbon vs. Triggers Down on amplified. Some of those series are definitely a keeper on my hard drive.

    :p

Oh sure congratulate yourself some more you cocky bastard :p

I agree though, Naded and Walshy impressed me a lot. While they were showing Walshy on the stream he didn't get many headshots, but seeing him with the snipe and seeing the occasional "Walshy sniped xxxxxxxxxx" pop up in text was damn good to see.

Str8 was the other huge story here, they just weren't on at all. I remember watching them in Columbus and thinking they were looking like some kind of god-robot hybrids during their last two matches. But the first two days I wasn't as impressed with them then, and it was the second day that hurt them this time too.

As for the rest of the tournament, I'm pissed that Final Boss beat Classic in their placement match, or else I would have had four of the top six exactly right. As it is, I got Carbon 2nd and Str8 4th spot on, with my predictions for TD and Instinct backwards from the result, and FB and Classic backwards.

The placings of the AM teams shocked me. 7th and 8th place? I would have been mildly surprised to see top 16.
