Has anybody made a Skybubble Floor map yet? I've tried to make a floor in the Skybubble several times, but always find it uneven.

Uh...the reason it's uneven is because you're probably using double walls, Bungie said something about the problem happening, and they couldn't find any real solutions. Besides, if you wanted a floor, why didn't you use the main floor? Or if you need it in the sky bubble, you can always use different items. Or you can stick with double walls. It doesn't have to be even.

It would be impossible to cover the entire grid but yes people, including me, have made floors in the skybubble. You will want to make them with double, tall and large blocks to minimize the bumpiness.

Yeah, I know. But Even is usually nicer and makes game play and further forging seem smoother. I personally don't prefer forging or even playing on on the main ground in Sandbox because players can just camp outside of the map. Though the floor in the Crypt is nice, when placing objects such as Double Blocks against the wall, they don't go completely against the wall, leaving cracks which other then being unattractive isn't too big of a problem. :) Sorry if this thread seems absolute, I was just curious if a floor had been made for forging in the Sky Bubble.

Yeah, you will always get an uneven floor in the Sky Bubble if you use walls, or any other objects that aren't meant to be put flat. Bungie explained in a Weekly Update awhile back that because the way the game saves the vectors (positions of objects) of Forge Items, you won't get quite the same angles you had after you save and reload the map with any objects on their sides. Try making a floor out of Double Blocks or something that's meant to be used as a floor instead.

Thanks! I appreciate it, I seemed to of missed that update on Bungie. Double blocks seem to work way better.
