    Racetrack: CrissCross

    UPDATED!

I think I've decided on a name, 'CrissCross'. I think it fit's perfectly with the track itself. I have also changed how my track go's. Rarther than making a short track with lot's and lot's of aesthetics, i'm going to make a mid-long style track with some, but not a lot of aesthetic's.

I have completed the spiral and am currently working on the banked hill, I'm having trouble getting it flatter for the corner after it. Advice, or help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also edited the jump, it now work's perfectly every time (That I have tried). Work still need's to be done on the cross-over section, due to the fact that it is not fully cheat-proof.
The banked turn after the cross-over also has yet to be completed, I just hope I don't run out of money :(

    OLD:

Here are a couple of screenshot's showing my latest racetrack, even though I haven't thought of a name yet. It's unique feature will be the cross-over, yep that's right, two banked turns cross over. Even though it's in early development, the cross-over is cheat-proof, until proven otherwise.
Several more banked turns and this track will be finished, I'm going to try and add some awesome asthetics to this track. Try and make it something special, new.
The big banked turn was built by my Ultramule, whom I shall give credit to in the final product, the rest was built by me.
I still have roughly $800 left, and should be able to finish this track in the next week or two.

NOTE: A 'Block Huge' hasn't spawned at the bottom of the picture, It's because I am still in the process of making the hill, so it's NOT a jump. There is a jump in the middle of the picture though.

I still have to build the banked turn connecting the small hill and the cross-over. I also have to build another banked turn connecting the landing of the jump to the hill before the cross-over. This track won't be the longest track in the world, but I'll try to make it something new and different.

The cross-over: The cross-over works by bouncing the driver over the other section of track using shield doors, I have placed man cannons just before so you can't cheat it. Early development stages weren't succesful, it required very precise placement of the shield doors inable to work, and not flip the mongoose. Minor changes may be made to the cross-over before it's final release, depending on how testing session's go.

Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Looks very good. I'm interested in how it will turn out. And as for a name, how about "Crossover"? =p

Looks very smooth so far and I am intrigued by this "crossover". Can't wait to see it finished.

'Cross Over' is a common name, I've used it on one of my map's before (Unreleased). I need something unique, I'll search for something in a minute. Thanks for the suggestion anyway .

From what I see, it looks a little bumpy in a few places, particularly the end of the double wall turn. And the place where you started using wall t's doesn't look like ti will run very smooth.

Also, from what I can tell, you forge racetracks oddly. Do you make different parts of the track at a time and then connect those parts later? Seems a lot more difficult than just continuously working from one point.
