Feral was an entry into the Terrible Twos Tournament between me and Capton Furgler. Furgler came up with the main layout, from then on we collaborated and argued between what changes should be made from then on. When all was said and done we had not only done the requirements for the map (adding slayer and an objective based game), but we had also added the infection gametype where the map changes it's geometry to fit the gametype. We tied for first with our map entry. It was a fun experience that I would do again. Now on to the map. Weapons -Shotgun -Battle Riflex4 -SMGx4 2 groups of 2 -Brute Shotx2 -Rocket Launcher Equipment -Bubble Shieldx2 Layout There are 2 main levels to the map, but the top level can theoretically be split into another level, giving a total of 3. You spawn in red/blue base either inside or below it. Top level has a little "room" directly in front of spawn, or off to the sides there are ramps leading up to the 3rd level. In the middle of the 3rd level there is a shotgun. At the bottom of the map lies the rocket launcher, which is also in the middle. i would recommend adding a few pictures, people wont like it other wise... plus the video wont load for me
Great video. I think I will start posting vids as well. The video was well done and the infection match honestly looked intense. This is a well balanced map overall, and if Bungie let us truly custom create our maps, this would definitely be one of those holding the MM position. Great aesthetics, good base design, and a great layout. I'm downloading this and keeping it for sure! No, pictures are good and all, but he has met the requirements. I don't think you should hold that against him. I can see the issue f how you not being able to load the video could be bad, but my computer loaded it fine.
wow the map looks great from the video gameplay seems to run smoothly with 2 v 2 and i have been in need of a good 2 v 2 map lately. The surfaces look really smooth and i love the obalisk things all the interlocks are neat and the roofs of the bases are very interesteing one dl from me keep on forging rated from the vid i give it a 5/5 good work
This looks awesome, but you forget that it is MANDATORY to have at least one pic, otherwise the thread could be locked.. And we wouldn't want that, would we? But also, infection looks fun but I'd really have to say that it's lame because apparently it only goes with one gametype. But anyway, this map deserves a 5/5 and a Bungie Favorites.
Bungie fav hell it deserves to be in mm if you ask me, this could go great for team doubles. You didn't use a glitched canvas did you?? Anyways this is amazing man, awesome vid, the intro music was well idk what it was haha. but seriously amazing map. very well forged and thought out great job guys.

I have a quick question, is the infection type map the only dl you have, because i'd rather have just the regular one, and if not i guess i just have to delete all the stuff for infection?
The infection map is the same map. Since infection is the only asymetrical gametype on the map, we could change the spawn of objects and such. Also to answer your other question, the map is not a glitched canvas, it's all natural.

just watched the video, this looks cool with some really unique ideas, i personally like the central structure, the rocket tunnel, and the dropholes in the bases' ceiling good job

The Terrible Twos Tournement is the current competition that the Ghosts of Onyx run every month. This one ran for July and August. You were randomly paried up with someone who had signed up. In July you had to co-forge a map and were given a score based on various condition such as originality and spawns. In August a doubles tournement was run and it is nearing it's finish. The GoO have a different contest every month for its members so we just went for something different this month. Anywho I helped run through these for the TTT scores and I had my thoughts. Overall I liked the map; the flow was nice and gameplay seemed fairly balanced, although we seemed to have a problem with Slayer with it becoming one sided pretty quickly, although I'm not sure if that was just a one-off. I might also think about switching the shotgun and rockets around. The reasons for this is that is someone grabs the rockets there is little danger down there (from what I recall) while the shotgun is abel to get picked off fairly easily. However, is you switched them round it would (for me) still be fairly dangerous for a player to pick them up but then you would still have a chance to fight back, while if its a shotgun and someone BRing from a distance you don't have much chance. Just my thoughts. I might be talking crap
Thanks Casper for summerizing the TTT. But for the shotgun and rockets switching, I was already thinking about that but you have to stop and think if you do switch them the bottom does have more cover and safer and the top does not like you said. And if you switch them the shotgun would be much more powerful because they wont be in as much as a risk as it would be at top. So the shotgun would overall be more powerful because one person can get it and use the whole shotgun and can get 8 kills with it easily. As the rockets then being up top, someone would grab them and kill someone right away if they are further away. So ultimitly the rockets since they spawn at the bottom and its a covered area and closer people would have to be careful with rockets as if the shotgun was down there it would be a slaugter for one team. Just to clear that up.
