Grr this is one of the things that drives me nuts! I hate geometry fusing my boxes, but there always seems to be a case where I need to. It seemed like it worked for me before, but now the pusher box method is unreliable to me, so I use doors..but with doors I will get one perfect fuse, and than I want to interlock a second box to make a lower floor and it would fuse to the exact same height, or it will be crooked. I enclose them with boxes should I interlock them with the box I want to fuse so theres no cracks from it being up against it? Or would that screw it up? Any tips would be mucho appreciated
i can never get the Geometry Fusing to work, so i don't use it ... You should definitely interlock them so that there's no gap though (if possible) ... you can lose grenades down the gaps and such.
Its an inexact science. We have top men (and women) trying to find the best and most reliable methods to GeoLock. Keep at it, the fruit of your labor may pay off by finding the best way to do this. --dc
Yeah you guys are great at this stuff, I'm sure you'll figure something out. It's not really the geo fusing i have a problem with, it's the geo fusing items that are interlocked, like when trying to make a complete floor. The pusher box seems to keep it straighter than doors, but its more annoying and is hard to keep exactly where i want it. Right now I'm just trying to find ways around using geo fusing, rather than have my new map look messy
