Well as of late i have had a lot of ideas for maps swimming around in my head, and i know there is no way i will get to all of them, so i thought.... what could i do to share my ideas and let other people take them for their own and maybe other people do the same. So i made this thread (which may hopefully get stickied) it is basically as the name says. This thread is dedicated to people posting map ideas, of any kind, in hopes that maybe someone else will make it or take their ideas. You can post maps you haven't finished or just post ideas you had for maps. The goal of this thread is to help people who don't really have any ideas of what to forge and give them those ideas. So i guess i'll go first. I have like five ideas so bear with me. Idea uno, A bridge to NoWhere! Basically my idea was for a giant bridge (preferably on Sandbox but Avalanch would work too) that has a base on each end. Maybe try to make it 2 levels or maybe even 3, and have man cannons and let you go back and forth (yes i know narrows but this one will be cooler). My second idea is an infection map/gametype called Survive This. It will be a 3 base infection map. You start on the main level of sandbox then after so many minutes the floor in the middle opens up allowing you to travel to the next base. Then if you live through that base you gain teleporters to the third base in the skybox. Zombies will of course gain things as well such as ramps, power ups, maybe new weapons other than sword. My third idea is Battle for the Pacific, a huge sea (even though it will have to be air till Longshore is released) battle using one giant ship in the middle of the map with locked scorpions for main guns. The japanese will start with banshee's and hornets on islands on either side of the ship. The map would be ideal for one sidded ctf or assault game types. Well thats it for now i hope others post and maybe just maybe this will merrit a sticky.
There already is a sticky for this very thing: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-forge-discussion/78201-imagination-database.html Not that people actually read the stickies anyways...
