There's a solid line where the render ends on the left side.

ooh i really like it ice! besides what pedobear pointed out..

the one thing that really stands out to me are the thin sepia white lines over the arm thing (the one that gets cut off on the left). i would try removing that, exaggerating the lighting a little bit.. i do like this sig though good job

Apply some blurring and sharpening to add focal and see if you can't fix that edge pedobear mentioned as well as extend that metal arm to the edge of the image using the Clone Stamp tool.

crop whole left side and blur, then put on a light gaussian blur, then open up the saved sig thus far, fit layers to size of canvas, and put the blurred layer on top, then merge the layers.

    it'll look good
    but besides that, awesome :)

how in the world is blurring a sig going to make it better? Then it would be blurry! The only time you want blurry is if its far away, I think you missed a step or something because if you didn't I really am going to stop reading your posts all together...

Uh, no it wouldn't, because if it was blurry its either really close or really far, and since its neither I'm not going to. Plus if it was blurry it would look lq and bad on the left side and wouldn't give any depth.

Im reffering to the same process you did to give your present sig more depth.
i just posted a sig that i tried to do such.
    like such

@ hells, I dont mean cropping the left side as in editing it out. I mean cutting off the right side, editing the left, then when your done, opening the right side as layers, fitting the opened layers to the canvas size, then merging them.

    it gives depth.

This sig doesn't need depth, it is a comic-book type art style, so psuedo-realistic depth wouldn't make any sense.

As for actual CnC, the effects on the left are great. The color scheme in this sig is fantastic. This is probably my favorite sig that you have made, definitely one of your best... I really can't find anything to criticize about it.

This signature needs no blurring for depth at all. This is one of those signature that doesn't need it. As HR said, there are effects over to the right. The canvas size is fine the way it is. I like this one Ice. I'm not to fond of the some of the effects you used, but they didn't turn out pretty cool. Nice job

    Double Post

    *sigh*

the thing is, hells misunderstood me, i didnt mean that you should crop the whole left or right side off, just crop it so you can edit a space without editing another. then, open the right side as layer, and merge the layers, from there you can do whatever the hell you want, but seriously, it was only a suggestion. I thought of it for a moment after Kratos explained the theory of depth in comic graphics, and i take it back. Really sorry.

and i will elaborate when someone misunderstands, dont lecture me about that, it is part of my rather arguementative nature.
    just ask sarge, ;)

Hmm... it would be easiest to just crop the sig where the render ends, because if you extend the leg as someone(s) suggested, the whole sig will seem out of proportion when you look at the other leg.
