Pitfall

    Pitfall

    When I made this map I wanted to make a fast paced map for Slayer/Team Slayer. Its a tight quarters kind of map but not so much that it gives u a headache to look around. Having 4-6 players is probably the ideal amount on this map but I haven't had the opportunity to try any more than that so feel free to do so. There are two main floors to this structure with man cannons to take u up from the bottom. There's room to fall down the man cannon holes but there is also a place in the middle of the map that you can fall down through, thus the name pitfall. and just like the real life pitfalls you dont want to fall through it because you'll be taking fire from both ends of the room, most likely the two opposing turret mounts. If you like constant action you'll like this map... Enjoy.

    Looks like a cool map. A lot of people use Pitfall as a name of their maps. I'll DL it and check it out. ^^

    Pretty cool map, but is the map meant to be symmetrical? If it is, it's definately not.

    The shotgun spawn point favors one of the sides.
    You should make a pit on each side of the shotgun spawn point and center it more.

    Also, the Overshield is "overpowered" because of its fast spawn rate.

    Note: These comments may be inaccurate because I have not played a game on the map and have not experienced the gameplay. Feel free to correct me.

    It looks very neatly made, congratulations on a very sucessful map, im sure this will get alot of downloads. Well done.

    The shotgun issue has been a problem in my mind as well, I actually thought I might just take it out completely but becuase I love shotguns I left it in. I wasn't sure how to re-set the map to spawn it fairly because I wanted to keep my original setup of the map as intact as possible. I'm thinking I might move the small open box over the opening in the middle and put it inside. That would spawn it fairly and also add more run-around room for players. If you have any thoughts on this idea, I'd like to hear them. I need as much feedback as I can get.

    Thank you for bringing the overshields problem to my attention. I'll reset it as soon as I can.

    Overshield idea: Set it to 120 or 180 respawn

    Also, I didnt get to see the Shotgun respawn time. Can you tell me what it is and the extra clips?

    I'll check out the map a little more later and see if I can think of some renovations you could make. :)

    Show us some gameplay pics pls casue i dont feel really excited about the map. And can you show us some weapon locations?

    I'm pretty sure there is already a map titled Pitfall here on forgehub, but it is old..
