Well, I'm about to get a new computer and I want to take advantage of this event. I've been wanting to get into making machinima(Halo 3 specifically) and I need to know what kinds of things I need to get with the computer. It will be custom made so I have a lot of freedom to work with. Also, It will be a laptop. Please, give me some links to software and somebody who knows a lot about the production of machinima to give me a list of things I need to do to get started. I need help on every thing from voice recording to video transfer from the Xbox 360 to the computer to webhosting so if you know enough about this topic then email me at robpicard@gmail.com and maybe we can even go into a partnership. Well, Now that you mention it, a Mac might be better for machinima I think Ill look into that a little more. So what do you recommend
Ok, the best thing to get for streaming video to computer is a pennacle capture card. I use one and their great and easy to use. Also easy to find, if you live near best buy you can find them as cheap as like $50.00 depending on where you live I geuss. I own the best quality which is $150.00, but works incredibly great with the high def. You get what you pay for. If you get everything you need anytime soon I'd be willing to work with you.
