Well it figures that I'd go download Gimp, learn to use it and then spend three hours making a sig just when Laxer finishes my request. Normally requests don't turn out as good as I expect them, but Laxer did an awesome job. Now I have two cool sigs and can't decide which one to wear on ForgeHub. I'll definately wear them both though, whatever one I don't use on ForgeHub, I'll use on ParadoxForums.com. You should also know that I've only made sigs on Paint and Photobucket before, and this was my first time trying a decent photo editer. So here they are, lets get your guys' opinions on them: Mine (my first sig in Gimp): Laxers: Stock used:
do you have links to the stocks you used. They would be valuable in an evaluation of the sigs. also. lols. your username is one of my nicknames.
Definitely Laxer's. EDIT: Damn, three hours making that first one? Looks like it would take a solid 10 minutes.
Wow, I didn't think mine was that bad. Should I have not sillouetted the figures? What could I do to improve the top one? And a lot of that three hours was figuring stuff out as it was my first time using gimp. I also filled in the figures myself with a black calligraphy pen, and hand drew the grey outlines.
Yeah dont sillouette them and dont make the black brushes so big. Because they distract from the focal. Make them small and around the focals like I did.
