I built a house on the ground level. It covers nearly half the entire grid.
Its 2 stories, all the rooms and walls are all done. I started the roof with double walls flat on their side going completely around the top level which makes the square of space on top smaller.

I need help with the roof and how to make it. All help and comments appreciated.

wow, half the grid, thats alot of mansion...

any ways, you should close it in about halfway, than elevation change,if I understand what your trying to say,and Im not sure that I do.

Can I get a better explanation?

I'll try to get a screenshot up by tomorrow night.

I used up all the double walls btw.

I also planned on making another smaller level on the roof I think like what your trying to sya.

Ill go in paint and try to make this more explainable.

oh,ok. If thats the case,Build about 1/3 of the way in,make your room, and finish it. That should give you a big enough space for a room, and not use up to much resources.

make the roof with wood bridges, and then when you get to where the room is,make it with stone bridges. Is that the help you wanted?

Now,I understand, and I like the ramps,if you want to use them, make some on the sides to,if you dont have enough,I say go with the wood bridges. If there s enough, put some on the sides, and on the front, put slit wall's to let it have a better feel, and have the walls at the same slope as the ramps, leading up the the room at an angle where you can look down from up there and see the inside, but not to much. that is what I would do.

    Hmm okay I'll try that.
Sloping the slit walls is going to take a while but sounds good.

Sometime this next week I might have this map up after the roof and other adjustments and hopefully if I can gather at least 4 people for playtesting.

PS:this will be an infection map but will be very different.
This map is based on the Saeki House, not an exact replica, from Ju-On:Grudge and The Grudge

thanks for the help halo kid
