    What I mean is this...

Lets say I need a staircase, I summon one up and I need to turn to 90 Degrees to face a different way, when I turn it I always end up just a teeny bit crooked, how do you guys make it straight and perfect? Is there a trick? Or is it just experience?

Also, can you use a keyboard to do Forge by any chance? Like a USB one or something? Because I have a feeling that might help.

Try lining it up with the lines that run on the floor of Foundry, that's what I do.

Line boxes or double boxes up, and use them to make the other item perfectly straight, I use boxes for just about everything...

Or just angle yourself so that it spawns exactly the way you want it to.

You can angle yourself to spawn things differently? How do you do that, no matter what angle I'm at the things always spawn at the same angle.

He is only referring to one plane, so if you wanted to angle it like this / then where you're looking doesn't matter.

I'm not saying where you're looking. I'm talking about where your body is in relation to the spot where you want to place the object.

No matter which direction you are facing in forge, when you create an object it will always be defulty facing the same direction. Each object you can create has it's own default direction.

Use guide objects to accurately place other objects. Walls, boxes, stairs, etc can act as guide objects because they don't move once placed. If you want two parallel boxes that are spaced one box apart, lay down 3 boxes side by side and delete the middle one. The result is two parallel boxes that are 1 box apart.

Branch off from this simple method to create more complex maps. The possibilities are endless!
