you cant just give one picture and a download link. you need to say what the map is, more pics (overviews ect.) and wep list (if weapons on the map)... so until you upload more pictures and put a description up, you probably wont get any dl's

 

Wrong, he justs needs a description, not more pictures. One picture is fine according to the rules, it's just common sense to post more.

 

Are you serious? Every time I go to post, you say somthing like your pissed off.
The post IS up to standards but it's hard to understand. Is it for a lot of minigames? Because you say that it isn't really made for anything, but you set it up for slayer and infection. How big a the dungeon? If it's small than hide and seek wouldn't be fun, because the Zomb would have to go thru and cpcthe tele aNd be able to kill everyone.

 

No. The post does not "NEED MORE PICS". Jayson's post is well within map posting requirements, which are as followed:

Map Posting Rules

1. Threads must include at least one picture of the map.
2. All pictures must be embedded.
3. Download links must lead to a posted map on the bungie forums, NOT your fileshare.
4. You must include at least a brief description of the map.
5. Thread titles must consist of the map name ONLY - no other symbols, comments or irregular formatting.

This was taken right out of the Map Posting rules thread. As you can see, he has at least one picture, and it is embedded. The download link does go to the map on B.net. He has a brief description of the map, and the thread title is perfectly fine.

There is a difference between what is "NEEDED" and what is "WANTED", please remember that in the future. You may want more pictures, but that doesn't mean they're needed.

For all you know, that one picture could be the whole map, and you've just assumed it's not. The incentive to download should be to actually play on the map. If it's not your style, get rid of it. If you really like, keep it. Simple as that. No need to bump up your post count to demand for pictures.

On a related note:

The map looks very interesting, Jayson. That one structure in particular has sparked my curiosity, and you have my download.

I'll get back to with some thoughts/comments/concerns on how it plays after I get a few games on it.

Close thread untill he does update it because hes getting to much attention for ignoring the rules.

You need more pictures and a description, read what people have said and read the rules, stickys will help you, thats what they are there for!

 

he only needs one pic and a short description but only posting one pic only hurts himself because people wont download map usually unless they get a good feel of the map from pics and a good description you dont have to post more it would just be nice.

as from what i see on the map it has good interlocking on the bottom of that floating platform but the kill ball seems a bit random and if it does not affect gameplay i would delete it because it makes a very annoying noise to some people but that is just a suggestion.

 

Can't say anything without a better description and maybe some more pictures, please fix that and i might dl and give a better opinion.

 

You're thread is technically up to standards as The Cheat has mentioned. Seeing that there has been multiple posts about adding more pictures, this thread will be locked, and you can make yourself a new thread. You can simply copy and paste your current thread to the new one and add additional pictures and please don't use white text, people who use Oldschool have to highlight your text in order to read it. So when you do make your new thread, your thread won't be filled with people commenting about not having enough pictures.

As for the people commenting about not having enough pictures, he has the required amount, and if any thing you guys are the ones who should be downloading it and giving a review based off a game or two or even a forge through, not just a simple glance at a picture.

 

there are more pics there are 5 pictures if you bothered to open the spoilers i dont know what the map was for but it has pics oh and i played the map and ya it is just for relaxing and whatever

Also the description is completely invisible to me and alot of other people...

 

I have to say, I don't believe that this map belongs in the Casual Map sectio. I think it probably belongs in the Aesthetic maps.

this map is a good post, and sits perfectly in the casual maps section. the BBall hoop looks fun and the crypt looks interesting. DL from me

 

This is a very nice map, I like how you can light the golf balls on fire and send them through the basketball hoop Good job man.

 

I think that centre structure floating in mid air looks really cool
