Well, I think that part of the problem is that there are currently 3 active contests on this site alone, and 2 of them (SOTW and 2v2) are on a weekly (sort of, in the case of SOTW) basis, so it really gets to the point of being too many things for people to try and do. Maybe if we make the 2v2 a monthly or bi-weekly competition, that would improve turn-out, but I really don't know what the solution would be at this point...

Silly new member. 2v2 is a graphics throwdown of skills. Teams of two people compete against eachother for the glory of having the best collaborative signature. Read up before you try to be a mini mod. As for the original topic, that sucks, but I don't think people care much anymore. =/
Haha... Noobs. Anyways I agree with Kratos. I think that people just don't have time and there's more prestigious contests. I don't mind if anyone else wants to do it but it's just been one dissappointment after another for me. Sad face...
Lmao As for the contest. I just think people aren't as interested (I know I'm not) at this time. Alot of us haven't been all that active and aren't around as much. I think this just needs a break. It could be started back up in a month or so I think.

Ha ha ha, Nick, you crack me up. Anyhow, I think the best solution is to take a breather, I know that since I did the last one, I just don't care about the current one, because I need a break from competitions. There are a lot of comps going on currently, what with SOTW and the LAE, and I think once you get it going again, say, in a month, it'd be better to do it once a month. I'd just wait till stuff cools down a bit, lots of people haven't been so active recently. I look forward to another 2v2 battle in around a month!
