By Indigo GAMETYPE Storydon't worry it's Short) I have played many bowling alleys on foundry but I am just sick of foundry and most of them were sloppy and that just didn't cut it for me. And I had not been able to locate any bowling maps on sandbox. so I decided to build my own. the original bowling alley that I made was in the sky box, it was terrible to say the least, but I did have some good ideas in there like gutters and a special ball return system with almost 100% guarantee of returning the ball so I decided to make another one and so here we are my V2 of a sandbox bowling map Enjoy! Description: Bowling Alley is a mini game map that features gutters and a fully operational ball return system that can be played with up to 9 players (there's only 9 balls). How to play: When a player wants to bowl they must first line up there shot by pushing it with there body or melee. then the play goes to the back of the ball and pushes it into the boosters it then shoots at the pins and hopefully knocks them all down or blows them up and the ball will be returned to you in a matter of seconds if you didn't knock them all down the first time you can try to knock the rest down or you can reset the pins by grabbing the sniper rifle located to the right and shooting the pins they will explode and reset. Do not go into the ball return system consider this a warning. Pictures, Spawn Area, This is where you bowl from, Ball storage room, This is where the balls come out when you bowl them, STRIKE! What if it is a gutter ball will it still return ( great idea by the way) how fast do the fusion coils respawn. It's very tidy i can say that. hundreds of people have made bowling maps and you where right all very sloppy any happy forging 4/5
I have never seen a bowling map with a return system. Very nicely done all around, I give it a 9.5/10 This is also nicely aesthetic, unlike some others....once again, very well done.
Ahh good question you can't see them but I actually have man cannons in the gutters so they shoot them towards thee back therefore getting returned you should Dl and check it out.
But if he did it that way, what happens to those who enter wouldn't be a surprise. Nice idea with that, by the way.
Don't you think it would've been better with pallets? I mean, if one of the fusion coils explode they all go and that is stupid since it is a bowling alley...the pins aren't supposed to explode.
dude i downloaded the map and tryed going trough the ball return system and when i looked down and saw what was in the mid level i laughed my ass off! that was so funny! but this is the best bowling map ive seen to date so kudos 5/5
Are you serious dude pallets that would be terrible how are you supposed to set them up again? they don't look anything like pins and it would just be a mess I chose fusion coils because there is virtually nothing else and they are easy to reset (shooting them) and they are fairly close to pins in shape and for your information there is a 1/100 chance of blowing them up. maybe you should try the map before you criticize it. lol I knew someone was bound to do that so that's why I put it there I'm Glad you enjoyed my map.
No, it wouldn't be a terrible idea. Who cares if they don't look like bowling pins? As long as it plays like bowling pins and do not explode, no one cares. You can reset pallets the same way you reset fusion coils, just shoot them or maybe have something that pushes anything that you hit into the gutter and resets it since you want to be so realistic. Maybe you should think before you post.
No one cares if they explode which they rarely, Rarely do. nobody else has a problem with fusion coils they are ultimately better. And please do not leave another post unless you have tried my map because frankly I'm getting tired of you criticizing my map without playing it. That I believe that is frowned upon by the administrators.
You should change the map so that it allows people to be the bowling pins instead of the fusion coils, that way you actually get points for playing. And it would be pretty funny screaming into your headset trying to organize people. Anyways, I wanna download it so I can just ignore what you said and go into the ball returning system thing. From what I can see, your map is neat, functional, and innovative. I'll download when I renew my subscription tomorrow. (Hopefully *crosses fingers*)
I did think about that before it would kind of be hard to organize 5 or 10 people every time you want to bowl this way you can bowl solo. And as for scoring it's pretty much impossible to incorporate. but you right it would be fun to splatter people and whatnot.
I think this would go under the aesthetic section. Nice job though, too bad it requires the honor system and doesn't have an official point counting system, though...
Yes it would be a terrible idea why would you even think of that? The fusion coils work so well. That's why every other bowling alley's use fusion coils. Pallets? FLICK Off. Anyways this map is so awesome I really enjoyed messing around on this map and playing against my friends but the best part is when I tricked my friends into going into the ball return system thanks again for making a great map. Keep Up the good work.
