I ran a quick search and didn't find anything on it, so I posted this here to let people know that they can see/play a preview of Blackout. Basically, if you show up at Meadowlands, you can watch the pros play it or play yourself, and if you can't make it, you can watch it on the MLG website. They are airing the whole tournament there, but the championship is going to be shown on ESPN Saturday Night. I now have more of an incentive to it because I wanted to see how an MLG event runs anyway.

Sorry, I didn't explain it well. On the MLG website, you can watch the whole tournament Friday-Sunday. On Saturday night beginning from 8-10 PM ET, ESPN will be broadcasting the tournament, so that will be the only time the tournament isn't showing on the website. Then, on Championship Sunday from 3-6 PM ET on the website, they will show the final 3 games (Winner's bracket finals, Loser's bracket finals, and the championship) and will also show the pro's playing Blackout. I think that is the only time they will show the map being played, but if you go, you have a large time frame where you can watch/play Blackout.

I know that I am definitely going to watch the Championship Sunday because of Blackout and well... the championship. I also want to see the ESPN broadcast, but I will probably be busy since its Saturday night (that's what TEVO is for though). I will drop in for other bits on the website too.

    Info on the Broadcasts
Info on the Tourney and Blackout Preview

Edit: SykoOne, are you going to play or watch? Either way, I heard the tourneys are a blast. My team will hopefully be playing in one of them soon (only to get destroyed).

    Sorry for the double.

Man, that was an awesome first 2 days. Carbon against Str8 was an amazing series. I can't wait to see the recap videos next weeks.

I misinterpreted the ESPN broadcast and Blackout preview. I thought they said that it was going to be on ESPN, but it was just sponsored by them (which I thought the whole event/MLG is). Also, it mentioned the Blackout preview inside of the section on Championship Sunday. I really wanted to watch that, but I guess that I can wait till Tuesday to play it for myself.
