It seems like it would be much harder than it really is. For the Pit, the easiest way out is right above you. Building a node up in the air just above the map is how I got out of it. If you still can't do it my gamertag is rjblum17. Friend me and I'll see if I can help you out in person.

how do you get past the death barriers on the pit? ive tried a hundred times and still can't do it.
