Ah... Perhaps you should play some of the good 1v1 tailored custom maps with me.. there are some great ones, even on Reach.. I find that the level of complexity of a 1v1 map can exceed that of many larger-scale maps if positioning is used correctly.. take Quake 1v1s, for example :P

What kind of maps are you playing 1v1s on? Defaults/Sanctuary? :P The 1v1s on some custom maps I know have pretty big competitive metagames...
