Halo 2 Classic Waterworks
The Definitive Reimagination-Remake of Waterworks.
Waterworks is a unique map since we have not seen one like it since Halo 2, its Remakes were impossible but with the power of the new forge, now it is possible.
Weatherworks is the definitive edition of Waterworks being a reimaginacion faithful to the original map, with an incredible atmosphere, without equal.
Weatherworks is a map that was first a project that did not continue, because the rock type did not convince me and I did not have experience to do this Remake.
History
The idea was to see a Commander Colson documentary (not how to call it) in which he explained how to make your map look bigger, astonishing, and a clear example is Scavenger, a visually amazing map. So after watching that video I got the idea of making this remake revive this project that I left abandoned for months.
Design of the Aesthetics
The map looks totally amazing and in fact it is seen that it is gigantic, massive, you can see in the distance gigantic cliffs and rocks that look spectacular, the central structure looks imposing, mysterious in a single word, Forerunner.
The map has structures that look really classic, from the tower the view is really paradisiacal you can appreciate how a battle unfolds at your feet. The sound of metal colliding with the earth, sand scraps falling from the heights, this map really looks amazing.
The pieces of forge look very good on this map in addition to being functional, the combination of structures and natural scenarios is very good.
Layout
Now talking more about the design of the map itself, this is quite similar to the original, however redesign the atmosphere and structures, they look classic, there will be a change in structures, the bases are different from the original map but they fulfill their purpose, Despite all these changes the map retains its origianl structure, specifically the accommodation, it is as if it had taken the map and redesigned it but when playing it you know that you are playing in the original.
The weapons, that if it was totally changed, however its accommodation is very funny, on the one hand the blues have access to the Halo 2 beam rifle and the red ones to the Sniper, the central weapons are a classic rocket launcher and a Saw, placed of Respectively above, the saw is in the highest part of the map in a viewpoint, the weapons reappear every 3 minutes, and an active camo every 2 minutes, the latter located in the upper center.
As for the vehicles, these were changed from the original, at each base there is a Gausshog and a Gungosee, along with a Scorpion. The banshees were eliminated since it wanted that the control of the central base was key to dominate the game since this one has the function of a fortress.
The map is ideal for CTF, for it is designed the map and play it in this mode is really spectacular.
