Map Update 11
The first few changes have been made accordingly to the most frequent criticisms on the map. I am constantly striving to improve my map and make it more playable for the community. Here are the following changes with a few new features:
The outside section of the map has been narrowed down slightly. It is less open before and the cargo crates, pelican and marble monument have been shifted to the side more so that the outside section is less spacious and provides better use of cover and...MetalDeadKid likes this. -

It has been a while since I've updated Villa, and so I have gone through it again to find ways to improve it. Here are some changes:
Light bake on backdrop objects have been changed to improve light map budget.
Certain aesthetic features deleted to decrease item limit.
I have consistently tweaked with the central hologram area in hopes of fixing the frame rate issue that has stuck with the map since launch. Though I have tested, and an improvement is noticeable, it's still an issue I'm... -
Map Update 8.1
Forgot to clarify this, but more invisible blockers have been applied to the map.
The most important blocker has been placed in the main lower lounge with the circular platform. After many comments about the wooden ledge being difficult to step on, a blocker has been added to elevate performance. -

The following changes were made by feedback given through the Forged Friday Livestream:
The SAW and Plasma Caster have been permanently removed from the map.
Railgun has been moved from its initial location; its ammo count has been reduced from 5 to 3, and its respawn time set to 150 seconds. The Railgun has been moved to the central lounge on the lower platform table where the SAW was initially.
A DMR has been added to the location that the Railgun was previously set.

Map Update 7
The blue lighting surrounding holographic interface in the indoor section was been tweaked. Some slight changes to glow, fall-off ratio etc. feedback has stated that there have been apparent frame-rate drops that occur near the area. Though they are rare, and not critical to gameplay, the area has been randomly tweaked in an attempt to prevent this error. The overall visuals of the interface remain unchanged.

Update Features:
Upper sections of the map blocked off to prevent any off-scale glitches -- includes the front garden.
Soft kill boundaries in Gravity hammer area have been extended to prevent access to out of bound areas.
Needler has been removed and its area blocked off.
Basement area redone with new steam FX and all tight gaps blocked off by rock terrain.
Lower courtyard zones blocked off with walls on opposite sides; only access in and out of the courtyards is through the stairs.... -
Map Update 5
Update Features:
Dynamic lights have been updated within interior areas.
Indoor hallway between the terrace and the courtyard has been fitted with some new interior designs; new animated piston, pipes, ceiling accents, decals and computer monitor to add to detail. Also doubles as useful cover to utilise in combat.
Central lounge area has new interiors - lighting fixtures added to trapezoid support columns, with a hazard suit added to a circular podium as a 'statue'.

Map Update 4
This update is a branch of the aesthetic upgrade released from yesterday. More floors have received the wooden treatment, as well as some retexturings to some aspects of the map.
Rocks and other natural terrain adjusted to be less intrusive to the gameplay.
The central lounge has received additional lighting to bring out dark and blotchy areas, and any uneven tiles that surround the lower platform has been adjusted.
Outdoor monument on the large rock has been given a marble texture.

Map Update 3
SIGNIFICANT changes have been made based on community feedback and new update features.
First and foremost, Villa has undergone a MAJOR visual overhaul. With access to the new textures, Villa is now more vibrant and vivid than ever, with each aspect of the map worked into to make it a more realistic and immersive experience, with details and materials that make it more of a place you'd want to call 'home'.
