Villa is not just a map, but a concept I had to take into full consideration. It is a fulfilling experience that strikes a balance between providing a beautiful, vibrant environment and a constant fluidity to its gameplay.
You're constantly on the move -- from one moment you're travelling through the lush, jungle scenery, and then you're entering firefights through courtyards, dashing between narrow corridors, and engaging in long range skirmishes from one side of the map to the other. Villa is a map that provides a variety of play styles that can be incorporated to your certain play style, and the sense of intense verticality collides with a unique layout that truly defines strategy, immersion, and most importantly - fun.
Villa is not my first map, but it is definitely my most ambitious ever. With intricate attentions to details and a truly fancy style, this is certainly the most fun I've ever had creating a forge map, and I hope the same feelings will apply to all those out there who will enjoy this. Villa for now is finished and optimised for standard slayer modes for now. In the future, many more game modes such as infection and strongholds will be available.
