Map Description

  1. Shiningdragon7X
    Race track inspired by one of my previous forge maps "Mushroom Forest." The map takes place on a fictional region on Sanghelios like Mushroom Forest, but in another area of the woodlands. Some of the key aesthetics include giant mushrooms, both in the area the track winds around as well as in the background. There are also 2 caves that the track passes through, with different types of mushrooms inside. Throughout the entire level there is a rainfall weather effect to enhance the forest/wetland theme. The track itself features giant support beams to give it more realism. The track mostly consists of steep drops, a few turns, and one prominent helix around the large mushroom. There are also several Covenant species spread out through the map, including a Sword Elite locking swords with a Covenant Remnant elite, a few grunts, and 2 jackal snipers stationed along the stem of the giant mushroom, that will shoot at the track that players traverse on.

    Very Very creative! I don't understand why nobody has commented yet because you have done a spectacular job with this map :) This map looks like lots of fun, il be sure to download and play this with my friends tomorrow during our game night.

    2 things everyone needs to know before downloading

    This map, along with my other race map Aurora, uses invisible blockers instead of kill boundaries along the edges of the track. This will change when we have the official race type. I just don't want to have players fall off and then have to start from the beginning without a checkpoint. Some invisible blockers will remain for some of the drops and sharp turns to ensure a smooth race experience.

    Secondly, sometimes when you reach the end of the circuit, the mongoose explodes when you hit the water, causing a suicide. I'm going to look into it soon, but for now just slow down on the final ramp before you hit the water and you should be ok.
