Map Description

  1. Wowshyy
    Transcendence is a symmetrical map designed for up to 4v4 or 8 player FFA. Although the entire map is contained within a 128x128 cube it's multiple corridors and levels space players throughout allowing for interesting gun play, flanking opportunities and a mix of close and mid range combat.

    Overall great map! Has some good movement and incentive to travel to the bottom. Weapon play felt balanced aside from the rockets. Possibly give it only one clip. There was also a time where I jumped off the top level by accident and didn't hit a death barrier, just landed on the rocks below. Great job though!

    Has that nice CE vibe every Halo veteran should know and love. The layout is easy to understand and master. A simple yet ingenious concept. This will be one of the maps I'm keeping bookmarked.

    Overall looks really cool. Does a good job of making an extremely cqc map work. It really is a full sized map, crammed into a tiny playspace. I think a bit more could be done with the environment, and some of the lighting is a bit too harsh for me. But overall sweet

    Clear visual design with a slight scent of Chiron TL-34 what with its maze like design, perfect little map for a classic free-for-all slayer match, The lack of an opening cinematic just removes slightly from the charm.

    From what I can tell this map screams CE and looks really good considering forge just came out. Would be nice to have some extra pictures though.

    You nailed that aesthetic btw

    @PharmaGangsta1 - CE was absolutely the main inspiration for this, I loved the verticality of maps like Prisoner and I wanted to replicate that kind of feel. I'll try and get some more pictures soon as I can, though to be honest they don't do it justice, the map is all about it's layout

    I've only done a bit of running around on the map but it looks very well made especially for forge just coming out yesterday. Good looking, I am excited to see if it plays well also.

    I'm a fan of the minimalist look. Only thing I think I'd change are the metallics to mattes, but, that's just me. I want to follow you so that I can check it out.

    I actually really like the concept (big fan of cqc) that you have the entire map contained in a 128x128 space. Though I don't like the name, I don't think it fits at all (I am a big stickler for proper map names).

    I am gonna download this one later for sure
