Map Description

    This coastal research station seems an unlikely place for a battle. But this serene setting is unfortunately in a perfect postion to launch future attacks from. Can you defend the station or will it in become yet another casualty to the war?

    *Needs proper testing*
    Blocker issues fixed, weapons added, and tiny Environment tweaks as well. Further feed back will be usefull

    I made a little run on your map.

    Really cool aesthetic and good environment. Maybe you coud add more vegetation (mostly in the cave, if you want some inspiration, go see the changes I made on Seige Landing here : https://www.halowaypoint.com/fr-fr/...rder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=Grievous32 )

    I saw little problems on your map... On the top of the struture (beside the antenna) where you put the AR, you have some barrier. You can climb these barrier and then climb the struture where you put invisible blockers. There's no invisible blocker here, so you can easily climb here (as it's possible in Drillsite in Infection).

    You also have a bigger problem beside the DMR. You have a rock with an invisible blocker but you can climb here by running in the direction of the cave, jump on the rock beside the palm tree, dash and climb on the rock beside the DMR, then climb the invisible blocker, climb higher rocks and go outside of the map from here (on top of the map AND outside with a ground pound to go on the island behind the map).

    I notice there's not many weapons... I think you should change the DMR by a Rocket Launcher or something like that, maybe a Sword, a Railgun or a Hydra if not a Rocket Launcher, put 2 DMRs in the map, maybe 2 BRs or 2 Carbines (or maybe 1 BR, 1 DMR and 2 Carbines... or just 1 BR and 1 DMR... Just choose as you wish). You had a plasma pistol, it's cool. If you put just 1 BR and 1 DMR (2 long rifles), you could add a Needler and a Brute Pistol (or SMG).

    I didn't see a lot of weapons on the map. You need to think you could have 8 players on the map, and it's cool to have 8 weapons or more. Sorry if I didn't notice every weapons in the map.

    I think that's all...

    To add more details, you can also watch on Seige Landing v32, Jungle Creek v32 or Valhalla (a Viking modified map) and try to add grass in some part of your map (just be careful to not add too much as I did in Jungle Creek, 'cause you could have framerate drop).

    @Black Racher
    Honestly huge thanks on the feed back. That was an amazing Critique and it will help me a lot. I will fix the blocker issues and fantastic description by the way. I will also play around with the weapon sets. I did feel it was lacking but at least it can be adjusted fairly easy. And I'll play around with a bit more plant life in the map, but the grass does scare me the frame rate impact is crazy so might avoid it all together. But agian thank you so much, this info will be a huge help

    Grass doesn't affect a lot the framerate. If you want, I can try to put grass in some part of the map, just to see if it's okay, but you don't have a big part where you could put grass, so... Just add it around rocks or trees or against the cliff around the map (look at Seige Landing v32 and Valhalla for these example), and it's obvious but, you have green part/grass part, and sand part in these terrain pieces, use these 2 parts to add grass just on the green part. Go see Jungle Creek v32. There's grass absolutely everywhere in this map. I have some framerate problems but only when I'm on top of the map or to a side of the map looking at the other side. So you can put a lot of grass, but you need to think that there's probably a spot somewhere in your map where look at in this direction could affect the framerate (I think the place where you could have probably this problem is the DMR spawn location).

    Just another thing. I can't really tell you where it is this time, I think it's to the other side of the cave (so not the side of the DMR spawn), you have a way which go down in the water. There you have 2 terrains, I think you could duplicate a ramp terrain to make the ground smoother. I don't see a lot of people doing this but it's important to smooth the different ways, mainly because of some abilities of Spartans (slide for example). A lot of people have problem with connection with 2 pieces (blocks or terrains) making problem with the slide. I use the slide everytime to move faster (dash then slide), so if some part of the map have problems, I can see it quickly and sometimes it stops my slide and slow me down. That's not good... Here the problem with your ground is more to give a better control when you throw a grenade and also just to have a better aesthetic with your environment. If you had vehicle, this type of hard contact between 2 terrains could be a little disturbing for the vehicles. I noticed that in WyvernZu's Sandtrap, or with the remake/remix of Standoff. It's minor, it's just a detail, but if it's possible to fix it, I think it's cool to do it.

    I let you make some changes, I'll try to add grass in a few hours, save a v32 for you and give you the link to show you.

    Really nice map., good job.
