Thunderchild is an asymmetric Assault map set on a half-sunken UNSC maritime warship. Attackers must carry the bomb up the ship's port gun deck to the loading bay below the CIC, where a detonation will ensure the computer core does not fall into Covenant hands. The network of catwalks around the B gun turret and VLS tubes (last used to take out a Covenant corvette in a desperate last stand) could either be an easy route to the target, or an exposed killing field for the defenders.
This map should be played with the Thunderchild Assault gametype variant, which has appropriate rounds, scoring, and player traits.
Strongholds, Slayer, and CTF are also supported, but not recommended.
