Mildly inspired by the game Firewatch and playing Castle Wars/Husky Raid, I wanted to create a gametype and map that really tested the limits of weapon range and discarded the CQB that has become more popular as maps have shrunk over the last few years (what used to be a 4v4 map is often now a Big Team map ie Viking). The goal was balance, so the Sniper has only one clip to avoid camping, and the most useful weapons are the Sentinel DMR and the CE Magnum. The flag run takes over a minute, and the reset time is very long, giving the enemy a chance to defend and your team a chance to get back to the flag at least once if you are all dropped. The asymmetrical bases are a mountain with switchbacks and a firewatch tower. There are three main routes across the valley, a high cliff side, a cavern, and the large main route through the center. I would be open to suggestions though I did hit my physics budget before I added as much cover as I would have liked; it is still a blast to play and makes for some long and intense games.

This sounds too much like sprinting all the time rather than engaging.

There is a good amount of sprinting, though engagement count is largely based on your ability to hit distance shots rather than the mid-close range. I will keep that criticism in mind though, I was already leaning towards a slightly scaled down remake, possibly more vehicle friendly.
