Map Description

   The Mill is a submission for the 2v2 map contest on behalf of itzSCOTTYDOGG.
   
   Inspired by the Goldleaf map Scotty went away and created something unique and striking. His focus on both gameplay and aesthetics clearly shows in this map. With clear lines of sight, a creatively imagined theme and neat thought out routes this map makes for some excellent gameplay in 2v2 games. The prominent feature in this map is the large Windmill situated at the back of the map in which players can access via a doorway at the bottom or via a man cannon from the well outside. The Mill instantly sets the theme for the map but it hasn’t stolen all the attention. The surrounding parts of the map offer other key points of interest in design. The ground walkway leading away from the mill is adorned with aesthetically pleasing duel fire pits built into the walls. Beyond these walls players are led to a large cart which lies offset allowing both cover and tactical access up to the first floor walkway. There are five sections throughout the map accessible via either passageway or carefully clambering each area keeps the action flowing and fast. The two power weapons on the map force the teams to move quickly to try and get the upper hand over their opponents. With teamwork and careful navigation players can swiftly turn the tide of the battle via one of the alternate routes throughout the map to key locations.

   The Mill 2v2 game mode starts with pistol and AR. Spartans start with 3 grenades. Only weapons on the map are two power weapons to make this map a fast paced tactical experience where team work is key. The mill is set In tranquil farming surroundings. Control short range power weapons to win the game.
