The LAAC T-4 "Quasar Bolt"

**Unfortunately, I was not able to bring this project to full fruition. If you have seen my previous aircraft projects, you know I like to include tons of detail with them, but because of the abysmal light generation times on Tidal, I was forced to cut this project short. With a lightmap not even at 100% yet, the average load time is ~5-6 minutes. That seems small, but had I gone to 200%+ like I normally do, the player would be timed out before they could even load in.

The Quasar Bolt is my third ship project in Halo 5. It is different from the first two, in the idea that this is not a spacecraft. When fleshing it out, I aimed to create something similar to the Vulture from Halo Wars, but much larger and much more dangerous. While I had to sacrifice much of what I planned to do originally, I was able incorporate a missile swarm function on the ship.

In order to work the missile swarm, equip the plasma pistol in the launch bay. Fire the missiles out of the murder holes in the launch bay and then aim at the target on the wall below the murder hole for a second.

I'm sorry this project is a tad lack luster compared to the two others but hopefully you still enjoy checking it out!

Lore: The Low Altitude Assault Craft Test-4 Series (LAAC T-4) was an experimental group of aircraft, designed with the idea that Covenant Corvettes could be downed before they were given the chance to glass a planet. Inspired by the Vultures used in the defense of Harvest, The LAAC T-4 were pursued with high hopes. However all 13 functional models were lost in the defense of Tribute in 2552.
