Lore: The EE-41 was a limited edition Heavy Cruiser class ship produced to combine both speed and fire power. The EE-41 were highly sought after for several months but the production of the more armored EE-50 and the swifter AC Type 8 soon after left the EE-41 chain in the shadow of desirability. This model was picked up cheap and converted to fit privatized needs. It's captain when asked what the vessel should be named suggested Star Surfer, after hearing of it's triple solar slingshot maneuver in 2252.
