Thaumaturge is my first attempt, in Halo 5, to make a new map with a classical Halo feel to it. My original idea was to take Wizard and scew it, before ultimately making a new design.
The map is symmetrical, hosting two separate bases that each connect to the main structure in the center.
The center is higher up than most of the map, offering excellent sightlines for those brave enough to hold the territory. Each base has three exterior levels and one interior cross-section so players have a pathway through the map.
