   What is (Team) Regicide?
   

   Regicide is a gametype from Halo 4. The player with the highest score is declared the king, and other players can earn bonus points by killing them. Survive as the king for 30 seconds gives the player an Overshield. If the player attempt to survive as the king for another 60 seconds, they will be awarded a Damage Boost.​

   
   

   In Team Regicide, both red and blue teams have their own king (leading player on the team). Players need to kill the opposing team's king and protecting their own at the same time.​

   
   
   Read the following before playing...
   

   • First of all, red and blue teams plus up to 10 players only! (Update on Mar. 18th. The game can now technically support a full lobby.) There will be no kings on the other teams, and killing the red (blue) team's king simply gives blue (red) team the bonus points.

   • The scripts support team switching and JIP.

   • King bounty is 2. Killing the king gives your team 3 points.

   • The scripts simply check if the king has died, meaning the enemy team also gets the bonus points whenever the king on your team commits suicide, leaves the game, switches teams, or is killed by teammates.

   • Finally, here's how the king power ups work. Once the required condition is met, the power up will move to and follow the king for 10 seconds. The king must pick it up during this timeframe, or else it will despawn. Any players that is not the king will be killed while picking it up.

   • Just like Halo 4, there won't be any kings at round start until someone scores.

   Nav markers and sound hints
   

   • Yellow ("KING") nav marker -> you are the king

   • Blue ("PROTECT") nav marker -> king of your team

   • Red ("KILL") nav marker -> enemy king

   • spartan infected sound -> friendly king downed

   • grunt birthday party sound -> enemy king downed

   • "you have the ball" announcement -> you are the king

   • beeping sound => there are 2 of them. You'll hear them when the game crowns one of the players on your team/enemy team as the king.

   How to set up a game...
   

   Play with the game type from the download link, or any other Slayer based game types. Set the killing score to 1 (do not set it to 0, or else the scripts won't select any players as the kings), and consider altering the winning score.
   
   Do not set the respawn timer to less than 3 or over 10 seconds. There are chances that the scripts will malfunction if the respawn timer is too high or too low.​

   
   

   • It will sometimes take the scripts longer than usual (10 seconds at most) )to select a player as the king if the king on your team switches teams, leaves the game, or commit suicide.

   • Player score does not contribute to team score in Mini Game gametypes. If you fire up those maps with the default Mini Game gametype, the scripts will still function, but the only way for the teams to score is to kill the enemy king.
