After a long break from Halo, I've decided to come back and finish this project that was due last month. Taurus' story is that it is one of a handful of rally points for Brute and Lekgolo forces during the Human-Covenant War. As the Sangheili started to seem weaker to the prophets, they had these facilities constructed to house their heavier pawns. It's dark red and copper theme is based around the Brute Plasma Rifle's colors.
It is an inverse symmetrical map. (Examples of this type of symmetry are Fathom and Sanctuary) This is my first time implementing more elevation to a map, but I've made sure it flows as I intended; using ramps, skill jumps, and teleporters to tie in the shifts in height. Classic map themes, such as Gemini and Assembly, we're used as a template to build from in my aesthetics and layout design.
At the start of each match, Carbine Two is essential to securing the top floor. Just a tip.
