This map had a different experience every time we played it, however that wasn't apparent at first. To be honest, I didn't care for the gameplay too much the first time I played the map. It took us a number of play tests to realize that there was something deeper beneath the surface level gameplay. I found that the map was really great at keeping players moving creating quick paced battle encounters. As for slight sandbox improvements, I would recommend switching out the plasma rifle for its "Brute" counterpart. There were a lot of spawns I disagreed with like the ones near the receiver node (those are never good) and the ones behind OS. After removing those and adding the SB back in, we found that sycamore had carved itself as one of the most refined experiences out of the submissions. Hopefully you could download our version in the ForgeHub LIVE account and further sand it down so we have a superior map for the upcoming 1v1 Smackdown tournament.

Every time I play this map I enjoy it more than the previous time.
Curse those death pits (shakes fist defiantly).

Very clean, beautiful map. Very easy to understand and learn. Careful falling off though there is a pit right in the middle and a ledge on the outside of Sycamore with no railing. Speed boost is fun but it gives a strong advantage on Sycamore that I didn't find appealing because of how much of an advantage it gives on spawn trapping. Playing one game I could consistently trap enemies and while I do like that in the sense that I can control the map I dont like that in the sense of balance.

3.5 stars across the board. I want to see more maps from this creator.
