Spartan GO

1v1 Strongholds

Map Description

I've always loved the aesthetics of the Hitman GO puzzle game. Having messed around enough in Forge, I felt that it was time for me to flex my muscles and bring one of the maps over to Halo.

The puzzle works, using invisible walls to force the player along the paths. The guard is scripted to kill you when he sees you and to be distracted.

I guess one tip is the circle points on the floor are explosives... in case you do not recognize them.

I'll be perfecting the invisible walls shortly.

If you wish to just wander around the map without the puzzle mechanics, you can go into the map Spartan GO Aesthetics.

I hope you enjoy this map and laugh at the relaxing grunt as much as I did when I placed him.

I am slightly confused by something, how does this work and how does the guard move? Are you still working on that part? I suppose the Future Updates would indicate that, as well as the way the player moves, but I am genuinely curries. Thanks :)

This puzzle does work, but I suppose it takes knowing how Hitman GO works on a certain level as well as realizing what is on the ground. :)

Basically, instead of a rock, I placed a rail gun. Those little circle spots that seem like they're simply aesthetic for the "move" spots are actually explosives. If you blast the one behind the guard with the railgun, he will turn around. This will allow you to move behind him (the previously inaccessible spot) and he will disappear.

I'll probably make a video of it shortly or add a light as a hint for that explosive.

The future update I put may be me making it so you're not actually on the board but above it moving the "piece" around... but we'll see how that goes.

I feel like an idiot XD I should have know. Alright, awesome. Thank you so much. Do you plan on making more levels? Maybe multiple in each map (pretty much level packs)? Whatever the case, I would love to see how it turns out. It's beautiful and I am actually glad I commented. I was so confused but I should have guessed it would be that easy. I shot the ones on the ground in front of me and was like "wut, it no work".

It's all good. Most people that I watch play it shoot everything but the thing they're suppose to. haha ... probably poor design on my part.

I may make more maps, right now I'm working on a "normal" map, but I may get back into it. They may have to be separate maps as this one alone is over half the object count.

If you ever want to join up and forge I'm always looking for people to build with.

I would love to. I feel like that level you made would be good for a tutorial. Example. A green bobbing arrow appears above the rail gun. Then after you get the rail gun, a green bobbing arrow appears over the point where you need to shoot, then, another arrow where you have to go, etc. Scripting is your best friend in this forge. You can really go all out.
