    Map Description:
    Sonar is an asymmetrical atrium map designed from the ground-up for the Forgehub 2v2 Throwdown Contest. Sonar is built ouside of fathom and utilizes the paths of the whales to integrate its' construction with the Fathom skybox.

    Sonar started as a doodle and, with time, became a battleground. Here are some of its' artistic variations.

    Sonar is an innovative little arena. I've played it a few times now and my appreciation has grown with each play through. The potential for teamwork within its winding spaces is great. As I'm not the most skilled player, maps like this say to me, "get better so you can enjoy me even more."

    Wow no comments yet!? I recently met and played with iParanormal on this map and it is brilliant! It's great in every way it counts. The layout is smart and unique and aesthetically it's very nice to look at too. That whale knocked my socks off! Great stuff buddy, can't wait to play some serious games on this.

    I can't wholeheartedly recommend Sonar for CTF, which goes for almost any asym, although I wanted to make Sonar compatible for any gametype a group of people might throw at it. Currently it is setup with 4-team CTF red/blue/green/yellow although, because it won't be played that much and a tight budget, I didnt put starting spawns for green and yellow teams. Green teams' flag is located near the Light rifle and Yellows' is near the bottom of the Lift.

    I've been drawing up some updates that might give a little bit more budget for these starting spawns and a few other objects, which when it happens, you could do Red vs Green for the flag to spawn at the Light Rifle location although that would give Green team a huge advantage because the Sniper and Light Rifle would be pretty much in their base.

    I used to cast for a Counterstrike e-sports stream. Sometimes, actually quite often, I would play casual and cast the casual game but anytime I was one of the last players I could never commentate on myself. It just doesn't sound right. I had a lot of help with Sonar, and a lot of people gave me good ideas like the whale swimming into the tunnel. It worked out for me because I can't take all the credit anyway.
